Is this course for me?

This course is perfect for HR professionals keen to work strategically, to lead and shape the future organisation and profession. The course is designed to develop the depth and breadth of your understanding of people management practice, and will equip you with the insight, skill and confidence to operate in a strategic leadership role as a people management professional.

What will I study?

Over the two years of the programme you will study 8 units in total. 4 Core Units: Work and Working Lives in a Changing Business Environment, People Management and Development Strategies for Performance, Personal Effectiveness, Ethics and Business Acumen, Business Research in People Practice with 4 Specialist Units.

How long is the course?

Two years

How will I be assessed?

Assignments will be internally marked and internally moderated. CIPD will conduct moderation sampling and validate centre marking before the release of results to learners. This qualification is not graded, therefore, learners will receive either a Pass or Fail. Each assessment within the qualification will be graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction.

What qualifications do I need?

You should have attained a Level 6 Degree (Hons) in a HR related subject.

You must also hold a managerial/strategic HR role in a company and/or a CIPD Level 5 qualification.

What can I progress onto?

Upon successful completion of the Strategic People Management Level 7 Advanced Diploma, participants will be equipped with the advanced skills and knowledge required to take on strategic HR roles or senior management positions with people management responsibilities. They may pursue career opportunities such as HR directors, talent management specialists, organisational development consultants, or HR business partners

Other Information

Upon successful completion of the Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management, learners with the relevant professional experience can apply for chartered membership.
