It was lovely to welcome back former A Level Professional Honours students, Katy Robinson and Caitlin Knowles to Leigh College.

They visited to chat to our current A Level students about different ways of dealing with exam stress and sharing their revision tips.

Both students are enjoying life as a student at The University of Salford but revealed that they really missed Leigh College.

"I want to come back and I miss the teaching", said Caitlin.
Katy, "Coming back has made me miss it a lot more, it just shows what a good college it is."

Caitlin is now in the second year of her BSc (Hons) Nursing /RN Children and Young People's degree after gaining A Sociology, B Psychology and B English Combined in her A Levels.

While Katy is midway through her first year BSc (Hons) Social Work course after achieving B Sociology, B Psychology and C English Combined.

Their revision techniques and experience of getting through A Level exams was taken on board and will surely be of assistance to our current crop in the coming months ahead.

Katy also highlighted the importance of looking after yourself and being aware of your mental health.

"You have to try your best and make sure you look after yourself, as the mental health side of things is so important as getting the grades that you want.
"Make sure you think about yourself as well because the person you are now has got to get you to be the person you want to be in the future."
