Barclay started working at the charity organisation in Wigan helping out with general maintenance and jumped at the chance to take the apprenticeship when it became available.
“I was thrilled to continue to working in the day care centre and take on a more hands on role. One vision gave me the opportunity to enrol onto the apprenticeship through the College to gain more skills to support me in the workplace.”
The former The Deanery Church of England High School & Sixth Form College pupil added:
“It has given me the opportunity to help with the changes and the expansion of the centre as well as working in a unique environment.”
