Each year, thousands of students achieve a qualification or complete a course at Wigan & Leigh College.
This provides them with the opportunity to progress on to University, an apprenticeship or gain employment.
We are proud of all students, many of whom come back into College to share their experiences with our tutors and current students.
Braden enjoyed studying full time at the College and has successfully completed his Level 3 Extended Diploma Electrical & Electronic Engineering achieving Distinction* | Distinction* | Distinction*.
Jack Reynolds studied on our A Level Professional Honours Programme Engineering pathway achieved A A A. He's secured a place at Lancaster University to study BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences.
The ambitious engineer has won numerous awards for engineering and recently was awarded National Apprentice of the Year at a prestigious ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Helena completed her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Civil Engineering and went on to study a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering at the University of Salford.
Daniel started off on a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. After successfully achieving this qualification he progressed onto the HNC/HND Engineering course and is now completing his final year to achieve a BEng (Hons) in Engineering.
Beki Davis, a 22 year-old Senior Manufacturing Engineer at missiles and missile systems developer, MBDA, established her career within Engineering as an apprentice at 16.
Matthew completed his Level 3 in Civil Engineering and progressed on to his FdA Foundation Degree in Construction Management at the University Centre Wigan & Leigh College.
