Advanced Learner Loan – Invest in your Future

If you’re aged 19+ and want to study a vocational, technical or professional qualification at Level 3 and above you may be eligible to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.

The Advanced Learner Loan is available for you if you study an eligible course with us, including:

• Access to Higher Education Diplomas
• General and technical qualifications at Levels 3, 4, 5 and 6.

If you’re aged 19-23 and you don’t have a Level 3 qualification, you may not have to pay course fees.

Repaying your Advanced Learner Loan is straightforward

• You’ll only start making repayments when your income is more than the government threshold. www.gov.uk/repaying-your-student-loan/what-you-pay
• You’ll only pay back 9% of any income above the threshold set by the government.

If you’re aged 19+ and meet nationality or residency status criteria, it’s easy to apply*:

• your household income isn’t taken into account
• you won’t have to pay anything back until your annual income is more than the government threshold
• there is no credit check.
