Our smaller class sizes ensure lessons are suited around you as an individual and this means that you have more contact time with your tutors.
Our students move into relevant work or gain promotion following their courses. In 2021/22, 89.8% of our graduates are in employment, which is 8.8 percentage points above the national average.
The University Centre scored above the sector average in every category assessed by the National Student Satisfaction Survey (NSS), including:
- teaching
- learning opportunities
- assessment and feedback
- academic support
- organisation and management
- learning resources
- and student voice.
We also improved from last year’s result in all but one of the survey categories, with a massive 100% score for how good teachers are at explaining things.
98% of them agreed that teaching staff supported learning and that it was easy to contact them when needed, with the same number scoring us this high for general academic support. 96% were positive about the teaching on their course, more than 5 percentage points above the national benchmark. While 92% rated our learning opportunities high, almost 6 percentage points up from last years’ cohort.
