With extensive experience in health and safety and dangerous goods safety consultancy, Dawn specialises in supporting factories, warehousing, transport, schools, and other industries with compliance, risk management, and training. As Managing Director of RADCaT Ltd, a national consultancy, Dawn has collaborated with a wide range of businesses to implement robust health and safety management systems, ensuring legal compliance and workplace safety.
Beyond health and safety, Dawn has a strong background in education, public services, and rehabilitation. As a former Principal Officer for Extended Services in Schools with the local authority, she played a key role in developing partnerships, supporting school improvement, and enhancing community engagement. Additionally, she has worked within the prison and probation sectors, contributing to rehabilitation programmes and offender support initiatives.
Passionate about education and workforce development, Dawn is eager to contribute to the governance of Wigan and Leigh College. With expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and organisational leadership, she aims to support the College in preparing students for their careers while ensuring high standards of health, safety, and well-being across the institution.
