Jo Toner

Co-Opted Governor on the Audit Committee - Term of Office until September 2027

Jo was appointed as a Co-Opted Governor on the Audit Committee in 2023.

Jo gained over a decade of experience in practice, beginning as an AAT trainee and progressing up to an Audit and Accounts Senior Manager, where her day to day involved navigating complex financial reporting and transactional issues for a client base of owner-managed businesses. This allowed her to develop a broad skill set and to understand her clients’ accounting and commercial needs and provide the directors with essential business advice.

Jo is now a Finance Manager in a private equity backed business, supporting the company with acquisitions, where she can apply the experiences gained during her time supporting clients with transactions in a more commercial role.
